The legacy of our family of labels began more than 40 years ago and has been home to the majority of Southern Gospel Music Artists at one time or another. The list contains a plethora of names that have been synonymous with industry personnel and fans alike throughout the past. In the late 1960s Heartwarming Records included such names as The Rambos, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Bill Gaither Trio, The Stamps Quartet, The Imperials, The Speer Family and the Cathedral Quartet. In the early 1980s The Cathedral Quartet became the first artist signed to RiverSong Records and shortly after that many others were to follow such as Gold City, The Kingsmen, Singing Americans, The Hemphills, Former Louisiana Governor Jimmie Davis, Greater Vision, Jeff and Sheri Easter, Heaven Bound, Lewis Family and numerous other artists. In 1987 Homeland Records was created and has been a home to The Cathedrals, The Florida Boys, The Speer Family, Singing Americans, The Hemphills, The Wilburns, The Bishops, Della Reese, The John Hagee Family, N’Harmony and most recently Three Bridges and The Songfellows. Today with our family of labels we continue that legacy and have developed a plan that was birthed from a vision given to our President and CEO Bob Jones to place the Homeland family of labels back into operation carrying the mission given to past label leaders in the very beginning of our inception. |
