Cheryl Jackson has always had a deep love of music, which began to blossom when she started her singing and songwriting career more than twenty years ago. Cheryl has had her original songs recorded by many gospel artists and has released several albums of performances of her own work . Her songs “Be Still", "Calvary Called Him” and "Raised With Christ" were Singing News charted hits for her. Cheryl's love of laughter led her to create a tribute to the famous comedienne Sarah Cannon, who is better known as her alter-ego “Minnie Pearl”. Cheryl wrote a song called "Thanks for the Smiles, Sarah", a song of tribute to Sarah Cannon. This song led to Cheryl’s comedy performances as “Minnie Pearl,” which have opened countless doors for her as she works to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Cheryl also performs Christain stand-up comedy. Cheryl Jackson is a singer, songwriter and comedienne, but most important to her, is her ability to take the gifts from God and use them to His glory.

Lookin' Up is praying God will allow them to be faithful servants wherever they travel and continue to bless their ministry and to lead them in all they do to promote God's Kingdom and uplift His Son Jesus Christ. It has been said that Lookin' Up is blessed because when they sing, people see they love what they are doing and how they show their love for Jesus Christ through their music and testimony. Their prayer is that God will continue to take His words from their lips to people's ears and change their hearts. Lookin' Up is just three ordinary guys spreading the extraordinary Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through song.
